WHAT TYPE OF ANESTHESIA DO WE PROVIDE?
The type of anesthesia necessary is based on the procedure

Monitored Anesthesia care/Conscious Sedation: This is form of sedation that allows the patient to be awake and cooperative but comfortable during their procedure. Often times, patients have no memory of the procedure itself.

General IV Anesthesia: This type of sedations places the patient into a deep sleep. All medication is administered through the IV and the patient is breathing on their own throughout the procedure.
IS ANESTHESIA RISKY?
While every anesthetic carries some risks, the sedation offered for gyn procedures is very safe. Elite employs, highly trained, anesthesia providers that use the latest monitoring technology and work with you to create an individualized plan to keep your patient safe, happy, and pain free.
HOW DO YOU BILL THE PATIENT?
Elite directly bill the patient's insurance company. There are some procedures not covered by insurance which we will handle on a case by case basis.
We accept all forms of insurance, including Medicaid and Medicare.
