MEET THE TEAM
SIDNEY BEDELL
Owner- Anesthesiologist
Dr. Sidney Bedell grew up in Queens, New York. He earned a BS in Biology from Kentucky State University. He completed both a masters in anatomy, and received medical degree from Wright State University School of Medicine.

After completing medical school, he did a two year general surgery residency before switching to anesthesia. He completed his ANESTHESIA residency at UMDMJ. This afforded Dr. Bedell to trainwith some of the nations, best physicians and treated various complex disease processes.

As an Anesthesiologist, Dr. Bedell specializes in obstetrics and has worked extensively with the Hughston Clinic Orthopedic Group and has performed a plethora of peripheral nerve blocks.
​
He is married to Marriage and Family Therapist, Dr. Tina Bedell and together they have three children; Sidney, Kennedi, and Savanna.
ELIZABETH NEWTON
CERTIFIED REGISTERED NURSE ANESTHETISTS
Elizabeth Newton grew up in Albany, Georgia and received her bachelor's in nursing from Albany State University. She worked for many years in the ICU and recovery room prior to continuing her education. She graduated with her master's degree in anesthesia from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2015. During her studies she received extensive training in pediatrics and trauma. Following graduation, Elizabeth moved to Columbus, GA and worked at the local hospital until she became the chief anesthetist for Elite Anesthesia in 2019.
Elizabeth is married to Jiro Newton. When not caring for patients, Elizabeth enjoys spending time with her dogs, hiking, and dabbling in photography.
